Last week our family spent Mother’s Day at Gibbs Gardens in Ballground, Georgia. These privately owned gardens are considered the “secret gardens” of Georgia. Being just a short drive north of Atlanta, makes the gardens a perfect day trip.

Every season offers something new and breathtaking. There’s a calendar on the Gibbs Gardens website listing what’s blooming each month and/or season. You’ll find the website very helpful in planning your visit. There is a cafe at the gardens with a patio area for dining, and it’s very reasonable.

We were so impressed with the gardens, we decided to purchase an annual pass.  Your daily admission will be credited toward the annual membership if you purchase the membership the same day.

We are looking forward to seeing the gardens transform each season!
